It has been a hundred years since the Volturi came and left unsatisfied.
The Cullens knew they would come back, but when?
The Cullens, minus Renesmee, who stayed behind with Jacob, left Forks soon after for a bit. People where beginning to question Carlisle's age, so they had to leave a while, heading to New York for a while. It wasn't as good as Forks, but it would do... for the time being. Renesmee missed her mom, but she loved Jacob. Over time, Sam's pack quit changing to wolf, seeing no point to have a huge pack with the Cullens gone and everything. Yet, Leah, Seth, Embry, Quil, and Jacob dd not. They could not leave the town unprotected with the Volturi out there, not matter what. Even though they pained over the death's of their friends, who died from old age, they knew they had a job to do and would not fail.
Renesmee got along with the werewolves, though Leah was the hardest to crack. The only female werewolf was paining over Sam's loss still, and liked to keep to herself. When the Cullens did come back, new werewolves joined Jacob's pack. Andrew, Deven, Legion, Michael, and Damien. They where a rowdy bunch of teenagers, but they respected their Alphe, Jacob, and his second-in-command Leah. Though Leah did not get along well with them and no one can guess why. The newcomers are disturbed by her cold shoulder but they still respect her, no matter how harsh she is.
Things went down hill then. The Volturi sent out Alec, Jane, Heidi and Dimitri to see how the Cullens and Werewolves where doing. The Cullens resented this as much as the Jacob and his pack did. He kept a close eye on the four Volturi, knowing he could not trust these blood-drinkers. Alec and Jane enrolled in the high school though, and the Cullens and Jacob could do nothing but watch and make sure they behaved. Then.... Leah met Alec. She had been heading to see her mother and father's grave a bit outside Fork's when she ran into him. It wasn't her fault...she didn't have a choice. Leah imprinted with him. This shocked and horrified her, and without thinking, she turned and fled to her pack, telling them what had happened. The pack was mortified and resented this. They said they would not accept Alex as her imprint or soul-mate. They set out for blood. The Cullens, especially Carlisle, said that the wolves where being to rash. Alec had done nothing, neither had Leah. She could not control her imprint. The wolves wouldn't listen, Leah was not allowed to have Alec as her imprint, because he was a vampire...who drank human blood. The Volturi backed up the Cullens, not about to lose one of their most powerful vampire guards.
As things heat up, Leah get's closer to the one person she vowed never to like. Renesmee. Torn between her mother and Jacob, Renesmee doesn't know where she stands. Then fate pulls her and Leah together as they have to choose between the one they love, Alec & Jacob, or the ones they think they owe their loyalty to, The Pack & Her Mother.
